History
In 1984, York Electronic Systems was founded by husband and wife team, Steve and Judi York. The Yorks realized that they could become more than a small residential security firm, so they acquired Ridley Sound in 1987. Ridley’s relationships beginning in the early 1950’s brought York the experience and expertise needed to grow. Now, 20 years from inception, York Electronic Systems, Inc. serves over 3,000 customers and is considered a premier integration firm in the Midwest.
