The Ottawa County Courthouse was a new construction project featuring Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, Paging, and Audio Visual systems.
The courthouse uses traditional security and video solutions but through the use of the network communications, both access control and video surveillance can be controlled and viewed remotely.
There were 3 courtrooms and 1 meeting room with state of the art audio visual communications. Because of a vast array of different functional requirements, multiple manufacturers’ products were used on this project. This allowed York to design and customize a solution to fit the client’s specific needs.
This much technology installed in one conference room can be cumbersome to operate to say the least. Through the use of a wireless touch screen control system, all media systems are integrated allowing the presenter to easily operate all devices from anywhere in the room while the equipment is securely stored away in a closet.
