ABOUT JENNIFER JEZEK
Jennifer Jezek is President and CEO of York Electronic Systems, Inc. (YES) a professional services and construction firm which specializes in design, management and maintenance of fire, life safety, security, communications and audio-visual systems for healthcare, education, government, corporate and hospitality industries. YES is a privately held, woman owned small business (WOSB)/Native American owned (DBE) with a diverse staff focused on quality, professionalism and client experience. Jennifer is continuing the legacy of her parents, Steve and Judi York, who founded the company in 1984.
In 1998, Jennifer graduated from Langston University (Tulsa) with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and left YES to pursue a career in information technology. In 2002, Jennifer returned to YES as Vice President of Operations and began succession planning with her parents. In 2009, she became President and in 2012, Jennifer finalized the business acquisition from her parents and became Chairman and CEO.
In a volunteer capacity, Jennifer presently serves as the Vice Chair for Resource Development on the Executive Committee for the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Oklahoma Biz PAC Director, the past-chairman for Associated Builders and Contractors of Oklahoma(ABC) and 2020 Director, ABC National Diversity Committee Native American Resource Group Leader, Tulsa Community College Foundation Trustee, Oklahoma Governor’s Minority Business Council Committee Chair and Junior Achievement of Oklahoma State Board Director.
